As an Industrial Buyer your main responsibilities will be : Conducting thorough market research, evaluating vendors/suppliers and their promotions to secure the best possible deals Fostering strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and negotiating terms to meet volume targets and expand the vendor base Monitoring inventory requests and production schedules to align procurement activities with current and anticipated resource needs Ensuring all selected vendors comply with service level agreements, resolving discrepancies, and updating payment forecasts and delivery schedules Monitoring purchase orders and contracts to proactively identify and successfully resolve potential claims in a timely manner Creating insightful reports for the management team to highlight key performance indicators and critical procurement data Managing administrative tasks, including contract preparation and maintaining data files within the company’s ERP system
