Construction Site Engineer - ΧΑΝΙΑ

A prominent property development and construction company based in Chania, expertised in designing, developing, and constructing residential properties, luxury villas, boutique hotels, and mixed-use commercial buildings, is lookin for an experienced Construction Site Engineer.   As a Construction Site Engineer your responsibilities will be : Daily site management, organization, task allocation, and direct coordination of crews and subcontractors.  Reading, understanding, and implementing architectural and technical drawings, along with the timely identification of any discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions. Close monitoring of project progress against the construction schedule, identifying critical-path tasks, and reporting potential delays.  Continuous quality control of executed works, inspection and acceptance of subcontractor tasks, and tracking the resolution of defects.  Management of on-site materials (checking quantities, deliveries, and proper storage) and timely notification to the Procurement department for new orders.  Preparation of daily and weekly progress reports for Management, supported by photographic documentation.  Strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures, ensuring the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and collaborating with the Safety Technician.
